Repairing Acrylic Bong

My bong snapped halfway through.

I had duct tape on it, but decided to hot glue it...

Would the best bet, be to, hot glue the bottom part on the ridges, then let it dry. However, then go and melt the glue with a lighter, then try sticking the top part on??

Because, I cannot get enough of the glue on it, be4 it dries up, and I cannot get the top part to stick to the bottom...

I do not have any other glues to use... So hot gluers, please help!

Don't have any other tools to smoke out of... sorry..

Can people actually answer, not criticize the ? at hand...?

i been there before, throw it away man... anyway, how did U break it? Acrylic should be hard to break...

acrylic should be disinvented---just utterly pointless. I mean you can scratch it with a damn kitchen towel.

Be a real stoner and make something. That's what our people are known for---ingenuity.

Buddy knocked it on to the concrete floor...

I think it was from a crack that started, from heat applied to the bowl, cuz thats where it cracked at (where the stem is)

Can't just throw it away mann! Nothing else good to smoke outta...

Glass to me is too expensive, and will definitely break out where I smoke, considering its concrete floor....

If anything, I wonder if & how, I could re-create the pieces into a NEW bong?!

Otherwise, I just need to know if heating the dried glue with a lighter, will melt it soo I can put it back together..

Fine acrylic cracks can be repaired by heating it gently (too much and it bubles)
Large cracks can be fixed with weldon...

on perspex you can use ether and a syringe to apply it... not sure if it will work for acrylic.
