Rep not working? How much to Level Up?

As you can see i have 55 points of rep.


But when i make a post it only has 1 bar of rep next to my name:


Why is this? Is the rep system not working or do i need more rep to "go up a level" ?

the green bar is possitive rep
the red negative rep

im not sure when it goes up

actually that is wrong cali, the green bar is you activity = reading threads, posts, etc... the orange bar is your experience i forget how that one works but there is a thread on here somewhere explaining it all, and the black bars are your rep given by other members. You can get lots of rep but you need a certain amount of rep to get bars. the amount of rep you give someone is based on a variety of things, so you can have 20 positive reps without going up a bar you wil need people with high rank to make your bars go up faster. something like that

No... the green and orange bar have nothing to do with Rep. The grey "+" boxes show rep progress. I think you have to have over 100 rep points to get the second block.

If I'm not mistaken the "points" displayed when you hover over the orange bar indicate how much rep altering power you have.

Of course I could be wrong....

I think you need a 100 rep ponits to get the second box of rep. Im almost at 200 points so Ill know if its every 100 points soon.

my bad.. i was thinkin that cause when ever i got rep+ my green bar seemed to get longer...........
