Say a few beans start growing but then i notice some are looped, and i dig a bit in and they are opend but where kinda stuck and couldnt grow up had to wet them and pull them out were they buryed too deep? should i check the ones that didnt apear

how big are the tails comming out i have help some sprout before you might have trouble finding the seeds if there buried to deep dut u can put the seeds close to the top i usually put then on top of the soil and sprinkle maybe a quarter inch of dirt on top at most! they will come when they want to theres not much you can do but wait

i actually got some seeds to open after i tried germing them 3 or 4 times by using a lil bit of rooting hormone on them

How did the seeds look when you put them in? Dark, light? Lighter seeds are not mature like the darker ones and will be weak and what not. Looped how? Like growing in circles? Sorry never heard loop being applied to this :joint: You should only make a hole about 1 inch deep to plant. If your soil is too compressed it will be hard for the sprout to grow. I checked on a few of mine when I started growing by just gently brushing the top where you planted the seed till you can see it or a little sprout. (Thats not suggested but I did check mine) You might wanna wait a few days give em time and keep em warm. I used a heating under my try where i had my seedlings, keeps the bottoms nice and warm. But I do suggest you germinate them before planting next time if you didn't.

If you didn't this is what I do,
Take a tupperware (rectangle, no bowls! ;P) place a paper towl on the bottom and wet completly with water, then place your seeds down on the wet paper towl. then take another paper towl or 2 and place it on top of the seeds, then add some more water. Make sure all paper towls are watered down and drain any excess water out. After that i take plastic wrap and cover the top poking about 8-9 holes in plastic wrap. Then I take it to my entertainment center and place it on top of my cable box. Its enclosed by a glass door where my cable box is at I cover the glass to make it nice and dark and about every 2-3 hours I microwave a damp wash cloth to get steamy hot and put in a mug next to my seeds. All 8 seeds were germinated and ready for soil within 20 hours.

you only need to plant seeds 1/4 inch deep at most.....germ seeds in a wet paper towel , in a warm dark place , and plant them tails down,,,, you should have no problems......

yea the one with leaves should be cool if you just put them above the soil and any that didnt you could try again with the paper towel method. i always germinate before i put them in soil so i know there will be a higher success with them. i cant really remember ever haveing a germinated seed not start! but i smoke to much to remeber what we are talking about!
