whats the best way to save space in the bottom of your grow room to get the maximum amount of plants in there??

I know the amount of soil is important but does it matter the shape of the pots?? lets say I had 8 or 9 inch pcv pipes that were cut to about 2.5 feet... what would happen if i filled them full of soil and planted in them??? would that effect the root system is a negative way?

any other idea's to maximize the space would be great...

not that great!!! +rep for your effort man but the pics will not display and it doesn't tell me much!!

I tried putting 3 plants in one pot before... 2 grew tall and one seemed to have stunted in growth and stayed very small... so what if I got really big rubbermaid containers and planted multiple clones in them but with fair space in between them/// do people plant mutiple plants in one container and have any success with it or is there to many cons to doing it this way? if so what are the cons?

I would say the best way is to use square pots. You want to use 1 pot for each plant. Otherwise there roots will get entangled and start fighting each other for dominincy:bigjoint:.......NOT GOOD

ok lets say you have 25 plants in 6 inch pots that you want to put in the flower room... its a 4x4 room thats 8 foot high... how would you make it happen?

If I had em in 6" square pots I would go SOG, this way I could get 64 plants(pots) going. If you wanted to do 25 plants in that space I .would go with 9" square pots 5x5 plants, and veg them 3-4 weeks then flower....

Also, I just answered your second thread:bigjoint:

Well, you could do a max of 8" pots, for 24 plants. Think I would try to find something not very wide, but deep - such as small garbage cans, the 3 gallon ones are probably 6" across roughly. I would not plant them together. Or, you could try doing a vertical grow, put X number of plants on the bottom row, same number next row up, and so on.
