Anyone know of any growing friendly landlords in The UP marquette area? The place I'm at now, the land lady wants to sell the place so I need to find a new place by the end of summer.

Base is full of growers. I spoke with Josh from Northern Eagle Realty and he told me they have SEVERAL tenants that grow. He wants to tour your grow once a month to make sure you are not fucking the place up and he has rentals and land contracts. I am mixing this up. Let me slow down. lol. Base has a ton of cheap places, ton of growers (and meth makers unfortunately). Then Northern Eagle Realty has places on and off base. The entire Gwinn area is fantastic, and me personally I would not want to live on base. I would avoid Ishpeming without a doubt.

If you wouldn't mind a trailer. Hit cars n trucks south of the crossroads on 553. He likes people with income, does land contract on trailer. Down the road you could throw trailer on a few acres. whatever. He owns a few parks in sands. Real close to town. PM me and I can give you his number.

Lol, That guy has a really nice cabin with an eagle over the driveway entry doesn't he? They call him the colonel or something? My dad and him go way back I have even been to his cabin a few times. That looks like something I will definitely look into. Thanks for the tips!

Wow, yeah Gwinn is a pretty nice area, been there, have quite a few previous co-workers that live there, and there's a great hydro shop on the way to marquette, not to mention the back room head shop in marquette. Not being from the area and only going on hear-say. The base does sound like an affordable/available place to live. My previous employer is rumored to be investing in rental properties around the Trenary-Gwinn area, I could give him a call and see if he has anything available. What are you looking for in a place?

The backroom is closed. The owner is facing many many various charges from what I hear. Superior Hydro is the spot though.

That's a bummer, they had a HUGE selection that dwarfed any head shop I've been to locally. (southeast) I think I was there last september? When did it get shut down?

I could be wrong but the have a location in Houghton/Hancock also. They kept selling the bath salt bullshit and both stores got raided and the owners house and he had shit at his house. Man I should be careful what I say, I could be wrong. I know the places were raided, they are closed, and the owner is in some shit. That much I am pretty sure of.

The backroom in my town, his brother was running the backroom in Marquette. His brother saved up and jacked all his cash from the backroom and moved to Florida.
Yeah, the Backroom in Houghton got raided, but he's still open. They'll be closing soon. Until then I'll be stocking up on EVERYTHING.
They will rack up $1000 worth of shit on the shelf and offer you $200 out the door. Don't tell anybody
