Renting a medical marijuana grow house via Craigslist

Anybody done it? Think it's safe to advertise for a medical marijuana friendly landlord?

ugh...no. Needing a house, I'd guess your talking a larger grow. I'm sure the cops have a house they would rent you.....

If your looking for a place to live, that would be ok with a personal grow...mmmm, I'd still shy away...but that's just me.

I don't know how to answer this.

I'd imagine that publically advertising your desire to commit a Federal felony (ie cultivating marijuana) probably isn't such a good idea.

Since theoretically property used to grow marijuana could be seized by law enforcement, if I were a landlord I'd never take the chance of renting to someone who wanted to use the property to grow cannabis.

But then again, people actually list live plant clones for sale on Craigslist in CA (which boggles the mind!).

As crazy as the idea sounds, there probably are jurisdictions where this could work.

Maybe some landlords would say, sure. . .just throw me an ounce every so often.

IMO, smarter thing to do is to keep the grow small, and hidden, that way you don't have to ask permission.
