I've got some kahki pants wit a blob of liquid tar on them. What's the best way to remove the stains using common household products? I've got soaps, detergents, alcohol, ect.
Removing resin (tar) from clothes ??

Get the highest % alcohol that you can find. I use everclear ( 95% grain spirits , ethanol ) , but rubbing alcohol works almost as well and is a lot cheaper. A drop of detergent will help, alcohol then water and detergent and repeat.
Can't say this is the best way, but it seems to work for me.

Simply Green is effective in disolving tar....if allowed to soak.
