i have a sativa dom. plant that is about 2 wks. from finish.alot of the lower branches arent as developed as the uppers.if i remove these lower limbs will it put more energy towards my upper colas:confused:

Thats lollipopping you mentioned. I believe its mostly done in early flowering, so it may not get you the results you want at this point. Search for more info on it.

a late lollipop, ya you could do that, but with only 2 weeks left i dont think it would be best.

how about this? you could harvest the top 2 weeks from now and then in 2 weeks+ then, harvest the smaller low branch buds, theyll have had more time to develop, fatten up and what not

so you say that you can harvest the upper buds and the lower one's will still ripen??. . .do you have to trim the upper fan leaves for that?

You can remove them. This late in game it wont do anything. The plant wont miss them.
You can just harvest what is ripe and wait for the smaller ones to ripen more and perhaps fill out more.
Leaves the upper leaves alone!

Lollipopping s mentioned.. you are a bit late for lollipopping which is to point all energy to the buds basically.. you can still trim these lower branches for minor changes. make sure your only watering with water no nutes.

cut off the top buds that are ready, but try to leave as many leaves as you can! then just leave the rest to flower for another week or 2.
