Remove yellowing leaves in flowering?

Would it be okay to remove yellowing leaves in flowering (if they are 70%-100% yellow) I heard that it can "slow" the plant down and also wastes energy, because its trying to fix those dying leaves, so it would be better to take them off. Is this true?

If you touch it and it falls off it's ready.
I let the plant utilize it because it clearly wants to.
Also if you just pull them and don't correct the feed problem it's just gonna suck up the other leafs.
Also this way don't leave the wet scabby wound.

Not saying I stick to this 100 but
