regular lamp for light?

You can use a regular incandescent desk light for your desk. If you want a mj plant to grow you are going to have to use at the very minimum CFLs.... and lots of them :)
 
its like one plant if i use a cfl and point it like 3 inches away it looks the same as the sun
would that work
 
A plant will follow any light..doesn't mean its any good...it'll just stretch the hell out of them.. as FG..(Hi FG) said cfl's minimum... Luck.

Get 2 X 26W $9..and a Y splitter .. works well to veg..as you save for flower lights... get cool to veg and warm to flower if you're sticking with cfl's..More light = more weed = :)
