Okay, I am at 1.5 weeks of flowering. I have to shut down the grow room after this harvest, and, seeing as it's my first, I would lke to get the most out of it. I have heard (or thought I heard) of harvesting the main cola (or possible a few of the larger secondary colas?) and letting the remaing buds keep going for a couple weeks till they get bigger. A big question for me is, I am planning to harvest when the trichs are a cloudy amber color, to get the highest level of thc before it starts to break down. Does the thc in the smaller less developed buds, reach max and start breakdown at same time as the main cola?

yes, but, do all the buds on a plant mature at the same time? I mean the trichomes. Or can I harvest the big ones, and let the smaller ones keep growing for a couple weeks? maybe even just a week.

Oh, and doesn't the THC start to degrade after a certain point?
