I just wanted to get some imput on this. I've not ever used it or the white paint in the back ground. I made an enclosed area with plastic up in our attic since it's all an open area. How much better is it to use the reflective paper. I'm trying to find out from someone that didn't use it in one of their batches and then used it with the next. Was there a big difference in your bud?

It's really hard to put an exact number on it. But look at it like this, all the light that "just escapes" and lights up the whole room does ZERO GOOD!

If about half of your light gets away - well, you do the math!

Im assuming he means the little ufo LED lights. Search it up on google but their light doesnt really escape much. The reflective paper or white walls helps tremendously. I started with just lights and an open area then moved it to a white closet and new lights and she bushed out and grew. Either white walls, or emergency blanket, mylar, or even the inside of chip bags helps a lot. keeps all the light that escapes away from the plant to reflect back and hit more or the leaves and stem

LED = Light Emitting Diode.

You have to think of it this way: When you have your light on,, look at all the light shining on the wall. What if all those lumens were reflected back to the plants? Using mylar or the like utilize your lighting as much as possible squeezing every photon (well maybe that's a little extreme lol) from your light source onto your leaves. Believe me, friend, it's worth it.
