Reflective silver tarp instead of mylar?

New member, first post, please be kind. I'm planning out a growroom and was wondering if I could use the reflective silver tarps you see at the hardware stores for the walls/ceiling/floor. I know mylar would be ideal but the tarp would be tougher and easier to work with. Or am I just being lazy? I also have access to heavy duty vinyl billboard tarps which are reinforced 3-ply and white on the back. Would white actually reflect more light than the silver?

I'm still in the planning stages and have to secure the grow area first. I should probably start a grow/room log but here's the plan. The good news is I've got PLENTY of space. Basement, 9x12' area, 7' ceiling, 10" thick concrete walls, nearby tap locations for water and drain, hidden access planned. Ironically I really don't want to grow that much, I was thinking (2) DWC rubbermaids with 6 plants in each tub. Separate areas for veg and flower and I might be able to squeeze in a small bar sink as well. Having running water and a drain in the room would be

White will reflect back the most light next to mylar so go with whatever you can get white.

The silver is actually gray and with absorb more light than you want.

You guys respond fast... this could prove beneficial at 3am covered in cloning gel and freaking out. Thanks for the prompt replies, I'm heading to the HW store this afternoon and will pass on the silver tarps. White it is!
