So, these two are 55 days old, outdoor since the start .. 20140621_123905.jpg 20140621_123916.jpg and now I want them to start flowering so I get them inside in a dark room for 4 days now, 3 hours before sunset !20140621_205732.jpg

I wanted to know guys, once they start flowering, should I get them back outdoor, or keep the light schedule (meaning mince 3 hours of day light) ?

Thnx :bigjoint:

That's the problem .. it's about 14 to 15 hours daylight, meaning it's not gonna flower till late july or even august and that .. I don't want man !
I want to reduce they vegging period you know ? :)

So use your plan of bringing them inside for 12 hours dark and putting them outside for 12 hours of light.

They will flower as you are controlling the photoperiod.

Then when your location has 12 hours of darkness in a day you can leave them outside and stop bringing them in for extra darkness.

Thnx mate, so giving them twelve hours light should continue during all flowering period .. not only at the beginning ?

Yes continue during all flowering for 12/12.

Other than autos, cannabis plants are photoperiod sensitive so they need 12 hours dark to stimulate the flowering response.

They will revert back to veg if givin more than 12 hours of light. In saying that i gave buddy some white domina clones and when he put them outside after vegging under 24 they flowered and were done mid august, really wierd!

Make sure its the same 12 hours of dark and light also, be consistent with when you bring them in and out

Sorry I didn't understand

If youre bringing the plant inside to put into darkness for 12 hour every day, to induce flowering, just make sure its the same time everyday. So if you started bringing it inside the first day at say, I dunno 7pm, and you put it back outside at 7pm, just make sure you are consistent at bringing it in and out at 7am and 7pm, try not to bring it out at 8am one day and 7am the next. Always use the same time frames everyday

Hey guys, I talked about this earlier, actually 2 weeks ago some roots started showing from top of the soil, I added soil they showed up again a week later and I added soil again, now my pots are completely full so next time if they show in the top again .. I got nothing to do ..
What is the best solution if I don't wanna transplant .. ?
Thnx

So, today i'm not home, I'm leaving the babies out instead of getting them inside three hours earlier (before sunset) !
Is it okay if I miss this today only ?

There is no solution if not repotting that I can think of.

Should be fine imo. I forget to turn lights on and off a few times every run :(. Never seemed to hurt anything. Never had a plant throw out balls in the last 3-4 years.

The above is not so true. In fact, if I were you, I would change my times of bringing them out to 12 1/2 to 13 hrs before FULL DARK!!! That way your are getting the Pfr lighting in the 730 nanometer range that not just induces flower faster, but enhances it by size and density of the budding!! The other thing is that with some experimenting I have found that you can actually get higher yields by employing this "dusk" lighting......I am in the midst of my second test grow (in bloom) using 730nm LEDs that come on with 30min of HID time remaining and continue on their own for another 30min after the HPS has gone out. I am getting some results that are confirming some University studies on this that are VERY pleasing!!

DON'T cover those roots back up!!!! You can kill them that way.......They have developed in that location to take advantage of the available o2 (oxygen) that you are putting to them with every watering!!! Don't worry, your root ball will be fine.....

Trust me on both of these!
Change your "out" time to at LEAST 12 1/2 hrs before FULL darkness and don't bring them in until dark!!! Get that Pfr lighting working for you....

Good luck
