redish / purple tinges to stems & leave stalks

hi can anyone tell me what strains have redish / puple on their stems and branches ? mine has it at the node points and where the blades connect with the branch ( the pics show where they are ). my plant is an unknown seed from a friend so i havent got a clue what strain it is.

strains with a lack of nitrogen? I usually take this as a good sign, shows they're not over-nuted.

ya i usually say thats not a bad thing at all

although I would still give them some nitrogen, but apart from that continue as you are.

thanks rob & skunk, i was starting to worry about it. its just over 2 weeks into flowering, would giving it nitrogen affect it much during flowering ?

Depends on the feed you're giving them. What nutes you using? Have they been fed recently? It could mean they just need a feed...

im giving it tomorite feed ( 5ml per litre ), its fed with this once a week. ive also started giving it molasses.

should be fine then
