What's up guys? I was wondering if anybody knows a good source for red wigglers? Are the Amazon ones any good?

I ordered from Uncle Jim's, I received a sizable mass of small worms that disappeared into the bedding within a day. There are certainly better, lesser known sources, but Uncle Jim's will work in a pinch.

But are they really red wigglers? It has to be them for composing I believe.

I was able to find a local source on Craigslist. Cheaper than Uncle Jims and supports a small worm farm.

Bait shop, local worm farm, even Wal Mart. I searched earthworm castings on fb and found a local nursery that has a huge worm farm. I got castings and a couple lbs of red wigglers cheap.

I ordered mine from Uncle Jims. The post office didn't deliver mine in time so they arrived dead, but Uncle Jim sent me a new order and shipped it through FedEx. I ordered a shirt and brick of coco too. They sent me new ones of those too. So I have 2 shirts and 2 bricks now. I was impressed.

Red Wigglers. He had Red Wigglers and Indian Blues, if I remember correctly. Not mixed.
