alright guys, its official. just heard from Mitch, the head breeder at Mephisto Genetics, that my sour bubbly is officially fuck't. not in those exact words of course, but apparently it should be at very minimum 10 cm across by 10-14 days, not 4cm. luckily enough i popped a purple ryder seed i had i few days ago, on account of feeling like i'd really screwed the pooch on the sourbub. by any means, no harm no foul. good learning experience about autos [they're pretty big pussies, and really do need to be babied that much].

She's still growing actually, just so far the fuck behind that she has no chance of giving me any sort of good yield, and the 4 seats outdoors in my garden are a hot commodity. I've moved her into a #1 pot [cuz its already fuck't and i dont wanna waste the real estate] and keeping under the LED on a 20/4 light schedule in the basement.

20150615_132712.jpg

So as far as I can see it I have two options:

a] flower that bitch, and have about a 20 sac or so of what should be super delicious buds [i've only heard crazy good things about this strain].

b] let her start to flower, and then spray her with silver to force herm and make seeds.

my big question there is, will forcing herm on a plant i already fucked up on a bit give me super fucked up seeds? like did i totally screw the genetics already, or can i still get decent seeds outta her?

@DirtyNerd lookin towards you and some or the other veteran growers who have played with breeding on this one...

Either way will keep everybody updated. I've run into two similar problem with early stunting on the AF forum I have been hanging out on, and both people stopped updating on the fucked up flower out of embarrassment. This being my first time, I give zero fucks and am keeping all the info I can find from this grow wether it make me look super dumb or not.

thanks!!!

Hey Bro

Sorry to hear about the runt happens to us all if you have the space and want to give the CS ago never hurts to try but as she is a runt and slow growing it might just stress her out to much and she may not make many seeds in the time frame and just waste your time and money on CS if i was you i would just keep her vegging till shes get to a half okay size then flip her and get some good smoke

If you do end up using CS and need any help please feel free to pick my brain or i can point you in the right place

Sorry bro i just had a huge session of blue dream and my head is in the clouds if you unsure of anything i have said let me know and ill try help the best i can also its great your documenting everything its a great way to go back and learn from mistakes and help others out try to post as much info as you can

I find sometimes reading over my own shit makes me see what i did wrong aswell so its a big plus to put as much info in as you can enjoy the rest of the day bro :weed:

Things have been going PRETTY DAMN WELL in the garden this week. Started off a little slow, but on Tuesday as we started with a new moon everything seems to have come alive. I've been following moon cycle shit a little bit, as my grandma has always been a firm believer in that. I was a little skeptical as I started, however I can't deny how its lining up with plant and root growth cycles. The tomatoes are getting HUGE!!!

garden.jpg

Now, onto the ladies. Last we checked in, the sour bubbly auto wasn't doing great. I had kinda given up, and just tossed her into a 1gal pot, 1/4-1/3 full of super in the bottom, the rest Roots. I started taking daily pictures of her on Wednesday when I started to see that she was rebounding, and how quickly. Mind semi-blown.

sour.jpg

The images from left to right, top to bottom go [last saturday, last sunday, monday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, and today].

Next up is the Fastberry. She is sticking with the regiment of growing insanely fast, youngest one of the bunch of autos and def the biggest.

berry.jpg berry_2.jpg

The "time-lapse" photos in the rest of this were taken between Wednesday and today. Every single shot didn't turn out perfect, so I ditched a couple days here and there in some of the rest.

The swiss cheese is also growing great, she got transplanted into a 15 gallon smart pot [bottom 1/2 super, top 1/2 roots] on Wednesday. She is still a little small to top down to her third just yet, however I did clean off everything below the third node including the growth tips. Being that I've had a couple hiccups, I am probably going to take this two step action as I build her manifold over the next couple weeks. On Tuesday the moon is in Libra and then Friday dips into Scorpio, so that should be some mad growing — hopefully by mid/late week I am ready to chop off everything above the third node.

swiss.jpg

Last but not least is the green crack. She's stopped growing for a couple days when I transplanted her Monday night, but is getting back on track pretty nicely. Still having pretty "high" hopes for her.

green.jpg

That's where we're at for this weeks update, will keep taking daily pictures as its been super fun to compare growth day to day now that everybody is starting to really kick in and grow like mad. Will post an update whenever I top the swiss, and then will do another week worth of time lapse next weekend or so.

Peace out!!!

So far its been going alright. I gave them a spray of some neem/insect soap last week along with the rest of the garden, as I has a thrip spot or two on the swiss cheese and a couple of my pepper plants. The biggest pest issue I've had to deal with is with my kale/spinish/swiss chard. I dont/wont spray those, and they are getting munched by catepillars, various flying insect eggs and earwigs mostly. I've been removing by hand, but am planning on doing a release of lady bugs in the garden here sometime this week to hopefully help. So far so good.

Yea we have little worms, that come out at night and leave bb holes in the leaves lol. i search the plants and stems/stalks, they must take off before i wake up..iv have a few lady bugs around as far as mites go havent seen any really, Ear wigs are around also. iv lost alot of pole means due to worms they are real sly and get in easy

CHAPTER A: OUTDOORZ

It's gonna be/already is fuckin hot out. Peaking Sat @ 100 or so, and then a week, possibly 2 of 90's. Have a makeshift shade screen set up, thats working pretty well. Got some garden steaks to build frame and a couple cheap rolls of screen door for the shade. Tied the frame together with twine and layered the two rolls of screen, then sewed them on with some thinner string. I turned cinder blocks on their sides and stuck the legs in them, then filled with leftover pea-gravel I had. It was super wobbly before, that that got it surprisingly sturdy. Yesterday it peaked at about 92, the plants outside seem to love it so far. Fingers crossed. Today it's already 83, and supposed to be gettin' close to 100.

The Fastberry is still growing like a bat outta hell. Has just poked out one or two pre-flower hairs right at 3 weeks. Seems like she's really hit first stretch. Hard to see the couple hairs in the pic, but as you can see its growing branches at quite a rate. So far my favorite plant to watch grow, sounds like she is gonna produce top quality medicine.

I took the swiss cheese to her next stage in the manifold two days ago, by cutting her at the 4th node [seemed a lot healthier there] after cutting off nodes 1-2 a few days before that. I left the fan leafs on node #3, but removed the growth tips. Thought it was gonna be a little bit of a risky move with the heat, but she is responding really really well. I'm gonna wait a day or two to tie her down, and at that point I'll probably top a second time to take me to four colas. Aiming for 8. I used some aloe on all the spots where I removed branch/leaf and its healing up very quickly.

CHAPTER B: INDOORZ

I actually moved the green crack outside this morning, so the outside ones are then, and the inside ones are last night. She is growing well, and doing a good job of catching up.

Screen Shot 2015-06-25 at 11.49.05 PM.pngScreen Shot 2015-06-26 at 1.26.48 PM.pngScreen Shot 2015-06-26 at 1.26.56 PM.png Screen Shot 2015-06-26 at 1.45.05 PM.png

The sour bubbly is doing really well considering her rocky start, and def showing some pre-flower hairs. I decided to start training her a little bit so she doesn't outgrow my small indoor space if she decides to go for it. Bounced back super quick, the first image is from a hour or so after i pinned her down, and the others are from this morning....back straight towards the light!

Screen Shot 2015-06-25 at 11.48.21 PM.png Screen Shot 2015-06-25 at 11.48.34 PM.png Screen Shot 2015-06-25 at 11.48.45 PM.png Screen Shot 2015-06-25 at 11.48.51 PM.png

Good luck to all my Oregon homies, keep yourself and your plants cool out there!!!

YO YO YO!!!

since all the pics I threw up yesterday were from the previous two days, I figured I'd throw some up today. heat so far not as bad as predicted — still pretty damn hot though, hovering right around 90. everybody in the garden seems to be extremely pleased right around 90 and growth is explosive. got a pic of the purple ryder yesterday — she is doing awesome!!! she is going to swap places with sour bubbly very soon so she can come home and grow out with the rest in my garden and my little indoor setup + the sour bub will get a foster parent down the street. not too much to update other than, just some beautiful outdoor pics.

Hey man nice updates, you have an ambitious outdoor project going. I planted one in the wild this morning, I popped 5/5 for my indoor grow and only have room for four, total improv on the guerilla grow but can't waste it. Crash course on outdoor growing, I checked your post a couple times too. good luck!
