Surprised personally that dispensaries have gone this long without being closed, Glad do you mean caregivers in your area? or state wide? ive always been worried about this sort of thing since we are all on a hit list of sorts, just make sure you good folks keep your plant counts on the up and up

I heard this last night and posted it. About an hour later I talked to someone at the marquette raid. So that did happen.
I haven't heard anything else about the other raids to know if they are true. But the person at the marquette raid said that the pot doc they used was at another dispensary that was raided yesterday, but it was ludington or some shit.
We have been out of town, then had a bad dog incident and haven't been out much the last week. but hopefully a lot will come out today.
I found it hard to believe that there would be 8 dispensaries raided in saginaw and this forum not know about it, that's why I posted.
DEA was at marquette raid, their funding apparently isn't too cut.

I know of one place that has a pot leaf on the front window and never looks opened. And it is in the hood where you'd be more likely to find good crack. I find it hard to believe I'm all over saginaw and don't even notice dispensaries let alone them getting raided. I do keep the fog pretty thick, just so the outside world and I don't collide to often. I could potentially miss a lot.

I have not heard of state wide inspections, but a friend recently had a state official randomly do a plant count check at his residence.

I hate rumors and bullshit runs the marathon, but what the hell is the "inspection" suppose to be about. "Hey let's inspect this place and see if our jack boots still make that sound when we kick the doors in."

See these are the bull shit semantics I was afraid of, sure they were there, but they promise they didn't lead it just offered a supporting role in the whole thing.

Actually, the feds have just refocused their attention to cross state activity. There were no federal budgets cut or force/agent reductions. It's essentially a forced business decision by congress to not waste their time (our tax dollars) in medicinal state's court houses, like they had here back in 2013. If they can try you in another state or federal, the games on unimpeded just like the old days and their back to making money without question.

plant counts/inspections are NOT legal unless you allow it to happen. Nowhere in the MMMA does it require someone to allow inspections. Say no to all inspections.
As a matter of fact, it states the exact opposite. I don't really feel like digging up the language to copy and paste here but in a nutshell it states that it is a violation of the MMMA to allow a person other than the caregiver or patient inside of the grow. Their warrantless "inspections" can fuck right off. If I am not mistaken, you would be breaking the law by even bringing a police officer into the grow without a search warrant.

That what my lawyer told me. Was. Keep the smell down keep the plants on count and put a lock on the door. It is illegal to allow ne1 in ur room other than the caregiver and there actual licensed patnt. My theory is the law is there to protect us all its better than some states where its real vague. But the law can only protect u if u follow it 12 plant per ptnt is fair u get greedy then u get hurt. I hear of raids going on but rarely on private individuals unless they are having traffic over there numbers or being just plain stupid and flaunting it. Im a legal caregiver not a pot grower ppl that get n2 tgis just for the money bring all oof us a bad image. Marijuana has done a lot for alot of ppl i know of plenty of old dudes that grow simply to pay their mortage cuz their pensions can do it.

I know many have good intentions to the southern ranges but I do know what you mean in general.Their will always be those types too to the North but up here the distance apart helps keep us more sane.. Besides who would think that such great herb can be found in the magical land of the tourist industry in Mi.

I have always said a traveling herb peddler could get rich up here in the summertime. Even the majority of the assholes who visit tend to chill out after breathing some cleaner air while getting away from all those signals and wires..

It wont be long before my people begin to farm this plant and heal the lands we have been pushed on for so long.. They too are dirty and contaminated and the plant will be our best asset at forming our own natural bioremediation.

Why not have marijuana instead, it could make so many more. Jobs and help the enviroment if done in a proper respectful manner. But i understand there isnt much to do

Man Arrested in Ludington on Marijuana Charges

A Northern Michigan narcotics enforcement team ended a drug investigation that started in the fall of last year.

Members of SSCENT and the Ludington Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Whitter, and police arrested a man at a Ludington home Tuesday for possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

Inside the home, detectives found an undisclosed amount of marijuana and items used to sell it.

The man has yet to be formally arraigned in court.

This is kinda of a crazy separate story, here's the part that gets me...
"The U.S. Attorney's Office announced in 2013 it would begin using the Hobbs Act to prosecute armed robberies in Flint. Typically, it is used to target robbers who hit stores that sell items like cheese, soda and beer produced out-of-state. However, prosecutors are attempting to extend this protection of interstate commerce since the heroin the alleged victim sold was produced from poppies not grown in Michigan. While the tactic to extend this protection to illegal narcotics is rare, experts say it has been successfully used previously."
