This is my first grow and 2 of my plants entered flowering 8 weeks ago the problem is that it was all growing good the first few weeks and now the flowers are not growing,I can only see them getting more orange.

I have always found that when my plants slow down late in flower they are really just asking for... transplant shock!

I am 8 weeks into flower and I guarantee the roots have filled out my pots, its normal. If you really think the roots need more room fill another pot about half way and drop your current plant in pot and all. Maybe cut the bottom off or open up the drain holes first. I would avoid disturbing the roots at this point.

Your roots hit the bottom?? That's supposed to happen. What size pot are you in? That usually happens cause of poor lighting, little light = little buds.

It also wouldn't advise you to transplant now. It would be counterproductive at 8 weeks into flowering. If pot size is indeed the problem then don't make the same mistake next time and let this grow finish out.

Petar,
Plant looks pretty sativa leaning. You could have a pheno that's going to run much longer. The plant does look healthy...just in need of more time.

Also, did you add a bloom booster? It's a little late now....but if you're running too much N and not enough P and K, that can slow flowering.

Looks like a sativa to me! That means longer flowering time!!! 14-16 even maybe 18 weeks is going to be closer to your finish.....Pic 1 looks a tic over watered.

At 18 weeks thats just a waste of money.... I would never pick up a strain that needs that long or wait 4.5 months into flower, With veg that's half a year for 1 crop... Must be a pretty dirty plant to take 1/2 a year for 1 harvest.

I agree Dannyboy. I much prefer sativas and have some Willie Nelson seeds that I'm looking forward to growing.

And 18 weeks is extreme finish time which I would only expect from a wild landrace strain. 12-14 weeks is much more common. And many...like C99 are fairly early finishers.

Thank you everyone for helping me out,the problem is that my pots are to small and my plants are to tall I can see the roots sticking out too much out of the holes on the bottom of the pot,and I am using NPK 6-8-8 nutrients for flowering.

Petar,
Transplanting during late flowering is a bad idea as others have pointed out. Some roots out the hole does not mean being rootbound. Symptoms of being rootbound are somewhat non-specific. Yellowing, stunting, drooping leaves...that sort of thing.

You think flowering is slow now...just wait till you transplant. You have been warned! :wall:

Petar,
Well it's your plant and your choice. After transplant, it will shift it's focus to root growth for awhile. And get it on flower nutes while you're at it. What strain is it?

I dont know which strain is it,I first planted 2 randnom seeds that i got and when i saw they were growing good i bought THC bomb seeds,so I planted 4 THC bomb plants which are growing perfectly. Now i have 2 randnom plants and 4 THC bomb plants.

Petar,
Thanks...and careful with the nutrients. Sativas tend to be sensitive and burn easy. Be patient and you should have some good smoke.

Thank you for you help,I just have one more question how many times a month should I give my plants nutrients because im giving them 1 time per 2 weeks is that good?

Petar,
It somewhat depends on how often you need to water. Most people add nutrients to every other watering. Better to feed more often then to blast them with loads of nutes all at once (safer).

^^^sativas take longer but are well worth the wait. not everyone grows for profit.

I don't grow for profit, I grow for myself... 4.5 months of flowering time on top of veg wouldn't provide much over year in the space I'm working with, taking that into account with the fact that I'd be spending almost twice the amount on electricity 18 month flower is not worth the money to me. Not everyone can have a basement full of plants...

I thought C99 was between 8-9 months for flowering? Kind of a drop from 18, even 14 months for that matter...
