Scotty, the guy that sells Recharge, said recently (in one of the last 5 podcasts) that the stuff the bennies put out for the plant is slightly acidic. That's probably why it sti works at higher pH. I still pH when I use recharge just cuz
Anytime you ph anything you kill all beneficial bacteria .

How so? Maybe adding acid to my solution with beneficials in it might kill the section of the reservoir where the acid was introduced, but once it gets mixed in the pH is back at 6.0. The bennies on the side opposite of where the acid was poured in would be fine wouldn't it?

Nothing in water gets suspended to one side lol . It moves freely . Adding acid to any beneficial bacteria will kill them fast . I grow organic and all these companies make me laugh.
Right, but as it distributes it becomes diluted. The corner where it was introduced is the purest acid, "ground zero" if you would. The liquid opposite of ground zero gets the most diluted of the acid. Right? I shouldn't put ph down on my hand, but I can put my hand in the resevoir after I've put ph down in it. If anything, you could just ph down before you add bennies if you're that worried

I'm not worried . I was just trying to help. Do it how you want to. Sounds like you got it figured out .

really really wish this stuff was easier to get a hold of outside the U.S, we have nothing like it where i am, i listen to the dudegrows show allot and this stuff seems just plain awesome for a multitude of things. The only way atm is to use amazon prime which requires a $70 fee just to get the service, add on postage and the stuff costs a fortune to get to my country.

I use recharge
It's good stuff, but I changed my nutes this run so not useing it till new mutes are dialed in.
I thought it was free shipping if you buy the Amazon prime???
I could be wrong.....

Hope people still hit this thread...so I am seeing Recharge as basically a compost tea, am I wrong in this line of thinking? Could I use this along with "blue" fertilizers? Or is this for organic growing only?
They state that they picked the microbes that can withstand harsh salts from synthetic fertz on there Web page for recharge and it can be used on any plant in any system u have with any medium. So it works for all things. The poster also stated that his rez has had less ph fluctuations with recharge as well.

I can vouch for this product, from what I can tell so far it's doing exactly what it advertises it will.

I've been telling people to get their hands on this product instead of using compost teas. My experience with using compost teas wasn't exactly the greatest and I feel they're superfluous in the grand scheme of things. With organic soils, especially in no-till, the entire point is designing a soil that will perfectly meet any and all of your plants needs for the entire cycle ideally. After that it's just a matter of top dressing every month or so to keep things going.

Teas would really throw things out of balance for me if I used alfalfa meal or any kind of guano, really easy to overdo it with those and contrary to popular belief you can in fact burn your plants with compost teas.

Recharge does pretty much the same thing that an EWC tea, the idea behind teas is that we use them to re-inoculate dead/dying soils and Recharge does pretty much exactly that without all the equipment and drama of a compost tea. Was always so awkward buying a shit ton of nylons at my local Walgreens LOL.

Highly recommend the stuff to anyone though, very affordable. I think I paid $30 for their smallest bottle on Amazon, stuff should last me for at least another year if not longer. Came with prime shipping as well.

I use it when starting new soil, they get Recharge once a week for 2 weeks before I put any plants in. They also get recharge whenever I transplant as well as when I top dress. Haven't made a single tea since I got the stuff.

I'm not sure whether to flick now as there don't seem to be alot more room for plants to grow and when I send. Them they will stretch off anyways, and if I do send them can I still move and tie branch's to open bud spots while in flower or is that just too much stress??IMG_20170922_191200750.jpg

When making nutes does it matter to add recharge first or make nutes then add recharge? After nutes are made with recharge do I still need to check ph or its just good where its at?

I used it in my aero cloner and it kept away the white slime, but it eventually started to clog up pumps and lines, recharge will build colonies quick. I wouldn't recommend it unless you clean it often.
Don't put recharge in your res. Mix it up per direction. Then pour it at the base of each plant about 8 to 12 oz at a time. A couple of time a week. Use it this way for a couple of years with great results. I grow capn style with rock wool croutons. It never fouls my res.

cool....Make sure you start out half strength on the recharge. Not that it will burn or anything, just that I've learned that it doesn't take much. I added a little too buch to my tea once and learned the hard way. lots of living microbes(foam) all over my garage floor when I woke up. but its really cool stuff, just trying to save your pockets a little:eyesmoke: your definitely gonna like the recharge though @BigTexan

i think iv been getting bunk batches of recharge. im now im my second 8 oz bag and no matter how much i put i cant get it to foam up at all. i dont get that. not to mention i cant seem to be able to tell if the recharge is even making a difference. i thought with all the good reviews it would really help root rot, but even when i start the plants on recharge from the beginning i cant get white pearly roots.

Some of the experts claim the frothiness has absolutely nothing to do with the beneficial count.
