Re-veging tips and tricks?

I am currently attempting to re-veg a G13 X Haze female grown from non femized seeds from greenhouse. I put it and the other unsexed plants outside because I was busy and kind of forgot to check on them (most where male). It was rootbound in a small pot and I didnt worry too much about it until I realized it was a purple pheno. Now I want to keep it and it is a fair peace into bud. I have brought it inside and repotted it and have taken several cuttings from the lowest (least budded) branches.
I am wondering if there is anything I can do to increase the odds that the plant will revert instead of locking up and dying off. It has been my experience that sometimes they revert and sometimes they die and the farther they are into bud the less likely they are to revert.
Will adding nitrogen help it reveg? or specific temperature or humidity? Has anyone studied this?
The plant is currently under a bank of 8 flouro's 24-7. I have a 600w MH available but unsure if more or less light will increase chances of a favorable outcome.

If you have clones, do you really want to re-veg? If you do, leave plenty of the leaves and buds at the bottom, put her back under a veg lighting and nutrient regimen. Cut the root mass back to match what was taken off and repot her.

I had an incredible bagseed I grew out and never cloned her. Luckily I read a post on here and re-vegged her after I harvested. It took awhile, but I was able to get a second harvest off of her and clones. Hope this helps.
