Re-Veg A Male

I have a question regarding male plants. If I start my plants on 12/12 flower and i find a male(more likely a lot of males) can i put it back into veg so i dont have to worry about pollination? The reason i'm asking is because i would like to harvest pollen from any males i find but i do not have the space for multiple grow areas to keep pollen separate. But one option for me is to keep the males in veg all winter and in the spring when my grow area is empty i can put all the males in my area and start them on 12/12 to get them to make pollen. With regards to this question, will a male produce a pre-flower in veg? Is it safe to have males in veg for a long time in the presence of females that are flowering?

Yeah i was wanting to make my own seeds and cross a few strains. I plan on keeping them inside. I guess my main question is can i put the males back into veg once i see balls forming on them? I wanted to identify the males and pull them out of the grow area and put them under a CFL to continue vegging until spring. At that time i wont be flowering any females indoor and the grow area will be open. Then i wanted to put the males back into the grow area throw it into 12/12 and harvest pollen when they flower. Then i can pollinate selected areas of any outdoor plants in the fall or do the same for the indoor plants in the winter.

Does anyone know if a male can be put back into veg once it shows balls and maintained in that state until i'm ready to put it back into flower to extract pollen?

it would seem that it would work, dam things are just a weed anyway try it and find out

seems to me that pollen has a way of making it where it doesn't belong....its risky if you are truly deadset on non-fertilized fems......prolly pretty hard to make any area pollen proof so to speak.....good question.....

you can do it, i haven't done it personally.. but i've heard of others putting plants back into 18/6 after 12/12. only problem you'll have to worry about is light poisoning, but that shouldn't be too bad if they haven't been in 12/12 too long.
