Re using potting mix?

got some miracle gro I used last grow n I don’t want it going to waste.. I know it’s not the best but I wanna make something out of it , should I use it? How do I get rid of nutrients I don’t need? Tips/advice ?

Are you talking about soil from your old pots? Sure you can use it again. You will need some dry amendments or liquid nutes from the go.

if its just leftover soil from a bag, then yes you can use it as is. but if its from old grow, then as romulanman said, you will need to reinvigorate your soil again

How do I ‘reinvigorate’ my soil? It’s miracle grow potting mix, Not the best

You need to put nutes back into the soil by mixing in dry amendments or using liquid nutes. The dirt you have prob doesn't have much left if any.

the best way to reinvigorate miracle grow soil is to dump it and buy better soil

You just need to provide your plants with access to nutrients, how you do so is up to you. Lots of people reuse soil and utilize dry amendment top dressing to feed the plants. Just follow the feeding schedule on Terp Tea's product line or whatever you choose to go with. You will probably need at least one product for veg and another for flowering.

You could also do liquid nutrients. I know a lot less about that.

This is my go-to for amending both new and old soil. It's magical. With old, I also add more perlite, 1/3rd by volume. I don't tolerate compacted medium.

This is where i need a facepalm gif.....sheesh....

hey Op, just fyi, you can re-use mg stuff.......just make sure everything is out of it first as well, and it's well rotted.....after that amend with perlite, topsoil, manure, and dry amendment.....and your good to go....
