re-inoculation

I have recently inoculated some jars with 2 different strains of shrooms. Golden Teachers and Treasure Coast. The GT have silver dollar sized mycelium growth, while the TC have next to nothing. Pea sized if anything. My question is, can I inject GT spores into the already inocluated TC jars that have shown no growth? Or do I have to empty them and start from scratch? All jars are 2 weeks old today. Thanks everyone.

your doing something wrong...... at 2 weeks you should be like 50-70% colonized..... i am willing to bet your temps arent high enough. they need to be at like 83-85 for fast colinization... have the t.c. shown any mycellium growth at all??? could be a shitty syringe, or you could have done something wrong like not let those jars cool enough or w/e. i would pressure cook some more substrate and innoculate that. i wouldnt reinnoculate the 2 week old jars cuzz ur risking contanimation....

I agree about the temps. They were around 70-75ish. I recently set them on my satellite receiver where I germ my seeds and they have sped up a little bit. All jars sat overnight before inoculation. The TC has small peasized growth. I figured the syringe was just junk.

Hmmm.....I read that it was better to be at average room temp with slightly slower growth than try to heat them. Just kinda understood that under temp was more forgiving. Where would a seasoned mycologist such as yourself recommend I keep them? I let my house stay a little more on the cool side due to my garden. Thanks again for all the shroom help the last couple weeks.
