If you can run the pump outside of the tent it'll be a bit cooler since the pump won't be drawing in warm air from inside the tent.

Wouldt pump get hot as being outside res?
@Just Be My resovair already on outside of tent.
This will depend on the pump.
All of them generate heat. A cheap pump makes a lot of heat. If its submerged, all of that heat goes into the water. That same pump in line will introduce much less heat into the system if it is capable of being used inline. Not all cheap pumps that claim to be able to be used inline have a good enough seal when they are out of the water.
Ideal situation would be a DC pump inline or with with a pickup that goes into your res.

How hot is the rez getting?
Like upto bout 21c
But only been running a few days im in summer in australia.
I have the smallest pump i could find to.
I bought as a kit an they sent a big pump but it pumps the water faster than water can drain back to res.

That would be about the upper limit of what id be comfortable with.
If you can keep it stable there you should be fine if youre sterile or using a good beneficial, but if it goes much higher youll need something. I run my system at 21C on purpose so my chiller doesnt work as hard.
Is your outside res down on the concrete?

Yeah mate on a concrete floor and i have my air pumps sitting in front of A/C

personally, I wouldnt want to shut it off. Id let it run and see if it keeps going up and how fast.
Other options I see possible if its just creeping up a little more over a couple days.
Insulate your system. It made a bigger difference for me than I was expecting. Black absorbs heat.
Daily top off with cold water.
Larger outside res. With more surface area on the concrete could help if youre right on the edge.
Spend the money on a nice DC pump that you can run inline. You should be able to find one to fit your needs for around $40-50
anything passed those is either more work for you or chiller.

Your pump is an inline eco isn't it?

still using those boxy ebay specials you linked me last winter lol. Damn things pull twice the power theyre supposed to but theyve been reliable.
I just came into some cash so I think I might grab a nice DC pump I can move back and fourth between the 2 systems.
