I'm reworking my flowering chamber back into primarily hydro and here's the design I've came up with. (based on heaths flooded tube.) I haven't made it to the construction yet, but it shouldn't take long. It will be made out of 4" PVC, with a T connector going to a 2" drain which will allow me to leave about 1/3 of the PVC filled with water incase of a power outage. The drain will waterfall probably 15-20" to the reservoir which will have an airstone and maybe a splitter on the feed line to stir it up a bit more. I'm hoping to be able to do it without cementing the fittings together if adjustments might need to be made. I can also fit a 4 spot 5gal hydro tank in the middle, or a couple plants in soil. GDP and LSD will be the chosen testers. =)
My room has 18 23watt 2700k cfl's for lighting. May eventually switch it up and drop wattage, but gain lots of lumens changing over to a 150 or 250watt hps if I can figure out if the room could hold one safely. (it's only 3 1/2' tall) Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.
