k males are a royal bastard to decide , without growing out every male and then polinating with every male then growing loads of offspring out to f7 then back crossing your simply guessing ,,,,, breedings a twat at times
so what to go on ? myself i consider vrs things
vigour , i want a plant that doesnt dick about , decent speedy growth
size , males are always bigger so its hard to decide , big massive males seem a good idea but not for uniformity , so i aim for the same size or so as the mother or a middling male rather than the monsters
speed of flowering , were talking here about the speed its triggered to flower not its total time , its no fun sitting around for weeks waiting to see a hair when others may show in veg or a couple of days into flower , this can make a massive difference outdoors , you want an earlier finish to get the better summer sun , so for this i aim for mr speedy
colour , doesnt always get passed over and not always wanted , worth seeing if its vainy but be assured its not mag deficiency
health , no mutants wanted , must be as easy as poss to grow , not interested in demands for anything , the healthy get to procreate
finally some males will frost up , always a good sign so always desirable and worth crossing with
