It's just a genetic mutation, not uncommon. You might find that it will grow sets of three nodes instead of pairs to begin with, and then start alternating above the 5th-6th node like normal.
It might make the bottom of the plant more bushy, which can be good and bad. Good because it means more budsites, bad because it could restrict airflow around the bottom of the plant.
Grow it out, keep us posted on what it does, pics are nice.
