Random Seed Grown started Nov. 1st 2010.. Questions

Hey guys,

I started my grow on the first of november from some random seeds I picked up. It's my first time using soil (I did a hydro grow last year), but everything is pretty much the same other than that. I've been flowering since Nov. 24th, so its been about 2 weeks so far. My tallest plant is a confirmed female and has started to bud YAY!





My shorter, more bushy, plant however has not given me any indication of sex. I was wondering (since I've never had a male) if it takes longer for them to show sex, or perhaps this is just a late bloomer, what do you think?





Also I only have about 5 CFLs (2X 26 watt and 3 X 23 watt) about 125 watts total. What would you reccomend?

I am also going to be leaving for a while so I will set up an automatic watering device, I think I have it all figured out, stay tuned if you want to see what I come up with (probably by thursday)

Bump, any suggestions? comments? Criticisms?

Yeah I think typically males show a little later. What made you go to soil after using hydro? Looks healthy overall, how many lights and what wattages? When using foil for reflection, it's actually better to use the dull side, just an fyi.

I went to soil because I was too lazy to go out and buy/setup the hydro stuff again so i figured why not try some soil see how it works out. There are only 5, 23 watt CFL lights for the two plants, not very much at all.

Well I finally got home from being away for 3 or so weeks. The plants looked a little beat up when I got back since they were very dehydrated, my auto watering system worked alright, but the soil was completely dry so I dumped a bunch of water on them and they seem to have rebounded.

Here are a few pictures of the top bud and another random bud about at it's mid section. I know the plant looks like crap, but thats what I get for not being here.




I also tryed to get some close up shots, but I don't really have the right equiptment so this is what turned out anyways

Anyone have any idea when they might be done, or anything I could do for them for improvements?
