Nice plant! Yup, as the days get shorter your plant will know that it is time to start flowering in hopes that it will find male pollen and produce seeds so its offspring will survive next year. Doesn't look like it is far into flowering though, you prob still have some waiting on your hands!

yeah you should be seeing white pistils any time now, by the end of October, you'll have nice little cola's man. She'll get about 6-8 inches bigger at least and some stretch. Leave that plant as long as you can, I'm guessing your first frost is mid to late October. You'll have time to get some bud, no worries after September 20th or so your days will be twelve/twelve and then shorter after, so she'll really mature fast after that date, It'll be in a frenzy to flower and seek Pollen or Grow balls, hopefully you get a female. I suspect it probably is because it looks to be all ready getting ready to flower and also you would probably in all odds have seen the Male sacs by now if it was one.

a true weed! u did nothing to it except the watering and it turns out really nice. days getting shorter and the party begins soon. GL
