ran out of white paint...What about plain paper?

all i have to do for my little box grow room is cover the top and i already ran out of paint so does anyone know if i could just use some plain white paper and staple it on the top?
 
the only problem i see with this would be fire hazard if it gets hot.

printer parer will be more reflective than notebook.
