Not sure where im going wrong! I bought a humidity dome with trays and inserts the other day.. Took my first clones today but even after i soaked the root plugs and misted the inside of the dome i cant seem to get the humidity up above 50%. where am i going wrong? Did i buy to large of a humidity dome? (plug holes\ the number of actually clones in dome)? Need of reply asap! Thanks

I currently use the bottoms of clear plastic bottles as you can see from the pics. They work really well and when i need to OPEN VENTS i just make a few holes in the tops. Now i have 2 full sets after cloning a few times ones with holes and ones without.

sounds like and easier way...

it only coast 7 buck so i figured it would save me some time.....is the problem just that theres to little of water under the dome and it evaporates to quick.?

yea man jus a simple tube fluoro light or a cfl is perfect...mh lights put out too much for a plant to induce root production
