Raised Burlap/Chicken wire technique

I guess it has to do with the amount of oxygen allowed to get into the soil

An aquaintance just sent me this picture of their grow....

I think the one on the left is a pine tree...

it also air prunes the roots, it's the same concept of the smart pot.
