rain water ?

most rain water is very acid due to pollutants. My outdoor(soil) plants show PH troubles after rain so i just water that acidic crap out of it and they're fine.

I guess you could just pH test it, or maybe ppm test it, to check if it's ok to use.

If your running benificials i'm sure it will be great, but with synthetic i think you should be careful to keep the sterile res~~ maybe add a tid bit of h303 to it to sterilize.

No rain water can be down in the 3's (reportedly even 2's but I doubt that's consistent) the amount of ph up required is nit good for your plants.....it will eventually cause you issues

I collect the rain off a metal roof in a 55 gallon food grade plastic drum. the ph is 7 with 60 ppm avg. i have been using AN ph perfect, sensie 2 part, bud candy, then final flush . i would like to try my rain water and a organic type of nute grow, i mean like with poop teas and such?...can this be done with 5 gallon dwc buckets?
