In nature plants pull nutrients from the earth that the plants are growing in.Ig leaves fall from the trees the rain wets the leaves then this becomes a mush. The critters that are in the ground help to break down the fallen leaves and make it more easy for the plants to consume. When you grow inside in soil some compost have a little feed others are just made from the above but after a while the plants will starve the soil of any richness that it had. This is where you have to give the plant a help in hand after all the plant only gets what you put into the grow medium. It is a little like like haveing a dog and the dog has a pup the pup feeds on the milk from its mother but once it is weened onto solids meat it is locked in a concrete fenced off yard ther is nothing for it to feed on get what i'm saying.Give the plant some feed and make sure that you mist the leaves with water with a little superthrive in if you can get hold of some. There are hundreds of nutrients that you can get these days not like the old days when tomato feed was the only feed.I like liquid feeds but that choice is up to you also check the ph get a chart and ph the feed.Look after the plant and it will reward you other wise i would not risk it.Any feed that is given to the plant is flushed out during the final 1/2 week any how so you won't be smokeing anything that will harm you.I suggest that you go for a feed like vitalink a and b veg and a and b flower with a little superthrive in during veg and i add some buddy during flowering,...........................................tyke..........................................................This is not a leture i'm just trying to point you in the right direction so that we all can cut the illegal's who come to our countrys and sell us nothing but shit full of grit and fibre glass...............keep at it it you will get there................happy new year....

My plants have done this too. Not sure why, probably stress. They look healthy otherwise. Keep them happy and they'll outgrow it. Don't stress over their stress they'll know it. Talk nicely to them, tell them they are beautiful and strong.
Have a great grow.

Peace

well the plant looks healthy just not the white... i don't think you have a problem at all till it starts dieing or something

How's it hurting the plants? whats happening to them? Is it like water running off from the roof? cause that would have like paint or something

this is indoor, they are under two 4x4 T5 lights. i have only sprayed them with anti fungle shit, its a safer brand with the sulfur base or w.e. its making them look like almost nutrient burn, however it put some holes in the leaves. and on one of my babies it even made the bottom leaf shrivle up. weirdest part is, they are still all growing very nicely. all of them are green. cept for a few bottom leaves. and the white shit that is on them....

i have not looked for bugs..... i have had bugs before, this dont seem like bugs. however i could be wrong.... its lame. it starts off looking like dust on my plants. then the tips of the leaves turn white. then the leave turns white. the weird part is. i have a total of like 20 plants. and it seems to only hurt like 10 of them... and they are all next to eachother in a 7x7 grow hut

ENDING NOTE!: SO...... this is what i figured out by trial and error. everyone knows that PM is a huge issue, well i had it showing up on one of my babies. so i went out and got safer brand fungicide. i sprayed it two days in a row(only supposed to do it once a week) thinking that it would really really kill that shit. caz i hear that shit is deadly. anyways, i have come to the conclusion that all the white stuff is just dried up sulfur(and what ever chemicals are in the fungicide) on the leaves. so next i started spraying them with a mist(mostly water, little bit of rizo, from the cana line) to see if maybe it would wash off. the only results i was getting was more white on the tips of the leaves and little bits on the middle. WHICH MAKES SENSE!!!! the water was pulling all the chemicals off the center and making them heavy on the tips caz the water run off!!!!

sooo now my babies are clearing up, the PM is gone. and i am happy! i appreciate all of the help from you guys. maybe u should make this thread something everyone can check out. just in case yall have the same problem. its an easy fix that is DEFIANTLY A USER MISTAKE.

yea i had the same type of white stuff ona few leaves for a long time. i realized it wus because i misted with nutes, then without, with nutes, without. i realized i wus just the nutes getting built up together from the clean water or something. ne ways i realized if i mist with only water with nutes or with only clean water the white stuff went away after 2 or 3 days =)
