Rag Seeds, Is it worth it?

I have this bag of rag i got for $20 a Q and you can tell its some crap but that is all I could get for now. I've started some white russians but i have enough room for about 3-4 more plants.

This shit barely gets your high and it taste horrible but it is filled with mature seeds. If grown correctly, will it be worth doing and actually have a nice buzz or should i just say F it and just go on with what i got?

just didn't know if the potency would be the same as it is b/c if it was it would not be worth it lol

Yea, they're probably going to be a little wiley. Remember that the "rag weed" you're talking about was actually at one time fairly decent smoke...............before it was picked prematurely, sat in a feild for a week and got rained on, thrown in a pick up truck, driven down a dusty road, tossed in huge piles, compressed with a hydraulic press, crossed the border inside a tire or something, split up, steamed,...etc.....and then it got to you.

potency from bag seed is likely to be better when you grow it because it's yours and you care about it

and if you do that, and aim for top potency, you won't get alot of seeds to try out

that's what makes mid grade pot so valuable to a breeder ... imo

to add to my previous post, i think pot, in this "day and age", should be a hell of a lot more spectral in regards to flavors.

in my opinion, around my area, there are no more than 5 or 6 different flavors. i know it's different where it's legal but that's not my point

Potency is genetic, but how healty the plant is , is up to you. It's hard to tell how good the weed would have been before it was tortured by mexicans. No offense to any Hispanic growers out there

would it shock you to learn that mexican growers in mexico grow dank ass canadian and dutch genetics in greenhouses in mexico? that shit dont make it up here because it has a good market domesticly. they are also making hash thats pretty decent to. and growing decent ass outdoor that is better bud then most beasters for a low ass price out in the forrests of the westcoast, and really everywere. even here in ill., and wisconsin and shit. they are tryna take away the dank market from canada

No, I wouldn't be shocked at all. Like i said earlier, they have decent stuff, but it seems like here on the east coast we don't get much of that. If you have anything good, you ordered it, or it's something that some redneck has been breeding since the late 60's. They don't need canadian or dutch genetics really, because Mexico/south america has some fantastic strains of it's own. Most of the dutch genetics were from guys that left here( US ) in the 70's and went to holland because of the lax laws. Everyone seems to thing holland is like the epicenter of genetics or something.

mexico has deep roots in fine cannabiss sativas man. they make up the backbone of sooo many high end strains. and some states and parts of mexico were like specificly made to grow buds. they have the perfect climate. subtropical, and danm near tropical{southern mexico.

thats why i hold so much value to mid grade seeds ...

just because someone fucked up that grow doesn't mean the genetics got fucked up

lol there is nothing wrong with growing mexican bagseeds that are pretty potent outside. i just wont waste the electricity for them indoors but i prolly would again if i didnt have any real geans

Think back to the cannabis that you have been getting of the guy who sold the seeds if the weed was ok then the bag seed should be fine.But you will have to sex it so keep it well away from any females that you have.
