Radishes: my first hydro

I did some reading and radishes grow FAST so I decided to use them to learn hydro. I used a primative ebb and flow and have strong seedlings in perlite after only 4 days.
I pre-soaked the seeds and germinated them using the "Paper towel method" used for MJ.
I then took old paper egg carton and made 1/2" holes in the bottom of the cups. Added perlite and dropped the germinated seeds in after soaking the cups and perlite for 15 minutes in 1/4 strength solution. The solution level is about 3/4 of the way to the top of the perlite. 2 drops schutz instead of 7. I soak them for 10 minutes every 12 hours and so far they are very happy.

Simple fast fun hydro project. Tommorrow I start up my new foam bubbler hydro system for the first time....

very cool. you should have radishes in about 20 days. what is the strain? I absolutely love the french breakfast radishes. they are more oblong than round and sweet as candy.

They are Ed Hume "sparkler". I harvest early usually as I like the flavor and texture better when they are a bit young. I transfered them to a flood tray and they seem just fine.
