Quiet exhaust fans?

Ordering a carbon filter kit today, not worried about carbon filter brands or anything, just need help choosing which fan to buy?

Need something somewhat quiet nothing super loud, I do sleep with a fan on. And my window ac unit 2 feet from my head which is on max 24/7. So I definitely like going to sleep with noise, but not too much noise if that makes sense. The tent is 4-5 feet from my bed.

I was looking at Casolly products, they seem cheap and decent as far as reviews.

Or how about this AC Inifinity? Had my eye on this one since I’ve been looking... $140. Anyone ever used one of these or something just as good? Not looking to spend more than $200 for the complete kit. So this fan with a carbon filter and duct is $205.

A booster fan is usually used for long runs of duct to help “boost” the air leaving .
A fan will have a higher cfm rating .

I would keep saving up, n do it right ,
Buy a over sized fan, and a controller to lower the speed n noise.
On hot days you can turn it up.

Knowing the size of your space, the lights you intend to use, would help other recommend something the suits your needs.

A cheap carbon filter won’t last long .
You get what u pay for.

Can filter & Can Lite filters for me.

Well I was going to buy a Phreah filter which I know is a good brand. I can buy a fan now I guess, and buy the carbon filter and duct next week. Didn’t want to spend $200+ on just an exhaust fan. Figured I could make something work for a few months until I needed to upgrade if it comes to that point. My house just stinks so I need to buy something ASAP.

And I’m growing in a 4x2x6 with a 350w Samsung strip led that I usually have set at 320ish watts.

I would imagine that is because of the built in backdraft dampers.
I currently run regular vortex on a speed controller. Big step up over the wiring in a dimmer switch we did for years lol
I was looking at those slines as an upgrade.

I've got the AC infinity in my 2x4. I run it between 40 and 60 percent and honestly I think my oscillating fan is just as loud if not louder. But I also have an air conditioner running so that drowns out the noise of everything else.

And I like the controller with temp settings and probe so I can take a quick peek at that instead of having to open the tent.

A great deal of noise from fans doesn't actually come from the fans per se - it's the housings they're in.

You'd be amazed what a couple of strips of stick on sound proofing does.

Fans are going to make a lot of noise period. as others have mentioned the best way to get around this is to buy an oversize fan and run it softer.
You can also build a box for your fan which will also cut down the noise without sacrificing any flow. I did this and lined it with Styrofoam and my oscillating fans are louder than my inline ones now.

I went cheap and used these style, moves a ton of air.

Thanks everyone. Like I said noise isn’t a HUGE concern but I also didn’t want to buy anything too cheap and having the possibility of it being obnoxiously loud considering my tents in my bedroom. That’s all, doesn’t have to be the most quiet exhaust fan out there. Also wanted some options/opinions on what the “Best Buy” would be at in the $100-200 range.
