Quick Question

You can but if you want a cheap way out at least use some GH. AG nutes are for veggies/ornamental flowers etc, they will work but..............

Justin121: You can use almost any brand of nutrients but Aerogarden's nutes, tabs or liquid, are designed to veg out culinary herbs for a 'continual harvest.' If you just want leaves instead of buds I guess they'd be okay. I used 'em before I knew better but you really have to know what you're doing or you'll constantly swing back and forth between nutrient deficiency and nute burn. Also don't be surprised if use Aerogaden's nutes and you have a hard time getting your plants to flower, regardless of what you do with your lights. If you've got autoflowering plants you probably spent a pretty penny for them so you're not going to be happy if they don't thrive. Please don't be penny wise and pond foolish. Listen to Willybagseed or go to your local hydro store and get a Technaflora "Recipe for Success" sample kit. HSA

Justin121: you can but at the cost of seeds, especially some of the feminized auto flowering variety, wouldn't you be, "penny wise and pound foolish?"

I got started on a Technaflora's, "Recipe for Success," sample starter kit a couple of years ago and I've never looked back. It was about $30 and it lasted me a long time in my Aerogardens. And that was without half the nutrient problems you read about these people having in the forums. I would at least investigate Technaflora. HSA
