quick question bout starting clones with the lucas formula

Im getting some new clones to start a hydro ebb and flow with buckets setup, and I want to try the lucas formula.
My only question is.. Will the 8/16 be too strong for the new clones? They are well rooted but i am unsure. I was going to run the 5/10 formula just for the first few days by hand watering just to be safe maybe.


Actually another question. If i mix 5/10 in a full resevoir and keep it topped off with full strength nuted water every day, adding 3/6 should bring it to 8/16 correct?

Better to be safe than sorry. I would go 5/10 until they get growing good.
