Quick question about my HID

I'm currently growing in a 36x20x62 tent
I use a 400w mh/hps system with a cooltube and 400w ballast for 2 plants

I want to upgrade to 600w system but don't want to come out of pocket for the full setup, my question is can I buy the 609w bulb and ballast and still use the same cooltube I'm using for my 400w system?

The ballast comes from the same makers so I'm sure the plug from the tubemail to the ballast will match, just making sure therected isn't a power difference inside the little box on the cooltube
 
so..... you are asking us if the 600w bulb you plan to buy will fit into your current 400w cooltube?


and you didnt measure it and check yourself?

and u dint link so we could check for you?

and you posted in the LED section to ask?

Thanks for the other replies, besides this dick...if you read through the whole post I asked about power difference, Not the length of the bulb. And in the forums description is says LED AND OTHER LIGHTING, but thanks for your immediate fail in being a dickhead.
 
But yes everything is the same maker, the bulb ballast so on, I just noticed the plug from my cool tube and wanted to make sure there wasn't a power difference between the box in my cooltube to the ballast...or in other words there wasn't a specified cooltube for 400/600/1000w I didn't want to blow anything

Nope same cooltube will run 400,600 ,1000w hps and also 400 and 600mh.a 1000w mh lamp is usually too large to run in a cooltube.basically if it fits in the socket and air can pass by in the tube your golden :)
 
Isnt cmh/lec considered hid lighting?
Dont get yer panties in a bunch guys,it was a simple question.we should welcome new members to feel comfortable posting in the led section,even when the question isnt as nerdy as the usual shit lol.
