Quick PPM question - HYDRO

Say my tap water is 130ppm and I want my nute strength to be 1500ppm do I add nutes until its 1630ppm or do I still only add nutes until 1500ppm? Also when toping off my res should I mix each gallon individually and adjust the pH & ppm or just fill the res and adjust the entire thing at once?

yes your ppm would be 1630

I feed once a week, rest of the week i just top off with clean water, no nutrients.

yeah dont add more nutes but always check your ppms after adding more water...

alright so if i need 2 gal to top off my res i should add the 2 gallons of plain water then add nutes/adjust ph? or should the water be ph'd before I put it in?

Top off, adjust ppm, wait a bit (hour or two), then balance out to desired ph. I ph down to at least 5.6 then let it drift up a few days to no more then 6.

All this is dependent on the size of rez and type of nutes. Some nutes drift more then others.
