quick lighting question

first off ,the search engine on here sucks, i typed in hps, it said no matches found...i tried...

question is can i run a normal 400w hps bulb from seed to finish...

i dont have the $$ to buy a nice conversion bulb or a sun agro, so im wondering if i can save some $$$$ by just using a regular hps.

ok ok,
so what can i do with my old 6 6900lumen 5000k bulbs??

is there a difference in using the hps straight through. and now having this info ive moved them all accordingly.

use them for clones or replace incandescent bulbs in your house with them to save electricity
