QUICK HEALTH PROBLEM-- OVER WATER or NIT DEFICIENCY???

I have looked through grow faq, etc.

But i can 't decipher whether this is overwatering or nutrient deficency...

Has anyone found what causes this??

BTW leaves are from mothers which have recently been cut up from clones- and i am trying to nurse them back to health

just stabbing in the dark here, but I would say their problem is not being connected to a plant of some sort...no just kidding, the ones on the left look fine, the right leaves look like they are either locked out or need nutes.

well i fed them 1/4 strength nutes Ph 6.8. But in the last week i did give them some water that had been ph 5.5(for clones) think that would be the cause eh? anything i should do other that keep feeding PH 6.8 water regularly from now on?

If you fed em 5.5 ph water and let em sit for any period of time, it's going to cause lockout, if you since gave them the right Ph of water you should be fine, I would just give em more of the correctly Ph'd water and maybe a lil nutes proly 1/8th str.

i see the purple stems ....your plants nutrients too strong ........lights to close.....or i guess locked out nutrients associated with nutrient lock out caused by over fertilizing

yes the lights have also been a little close- i have changed that. I'm not sure if i am giving too much nutes... For a while(since I cut the mothers back) i have been giving just phd water. I just gave them nutes last night (after cuttings) and will see how they improve...

They say you can give nutes every watering right? My plants are two foot tall, only four branches right now.

That is one concern i think this problem is resulting partly from watering them as they were as large bushy plants-- and now they are large with few branches and leaves-- so maybe i should cut WAYY back on watering and revert to very light nutes as if it was a baby again?

Thanks

hey herbie. were the leaves from the same plant. the purpling may be from nute stress but it could also be a pheno. mine do it all the time and has nothing to do with nutes. i wouldn`t nute evry watering, 2nd to 3rd watering

ya i think they were from same plant--- what is a pheno?
they seem to be doing ok, gonna pull back on nutes. every other watering. and i think i will hit plants and clones with 6.5-6.8 to simplify the watering

phenotype is what we see in the plant like colour and such. i like my ph between 6.3 and 6.8 for nuted water. nutes are more avaliable in that range. for soil
