Quick Harvest Question

Hey all! I'm just wondering if I should consider chopping my Northern Soul now or hang on for another week or two. The whole plant is packed with bud sites and some of those, from about the middle of the plant and down, look more "mature". The hairs on those are turning amber more quickly than the main cola. I just don't want to let any of it go too far and lose any potency. The first pic is of one of the side branches. The second is the main cola, and the third is a shot of the entire plant, (sorry about the quality. Not the greatest camera). I suppose I could cut off a few BUT I don't want to do that if it's gonna screw things up. Any help is really appreciated. :peace: Thanks!

TRICHOME HARVEST CHART

of couse someone that likes to argue, will argue with this post.

YOU CAN GO BY A CALENDER, AND IT WILL BE BETWEEN 8 AND 9 WEEKS FOR MOST INDICA.
You can buy a $13 lighted battery operated 10X microscope at Radio Shack to examine the trichs.
You can wait until all the hairs are reddish or browish or dark beer colored.

Again, all the above are rules of thumb and many will argue this, but until you've done a few grows and learn any better, this is good advise.

Save your money and get a eye loop they use for looking at 35mm slides for cheap

$13 at Radio Shack

You just trim a piece of Bud Leaf off, lay it on a plate, and zoom in and focus til you find it.

This way, you can pre-determine the HIGH that you want and get.
