Quick Change!! Hydro Malfunction (grow journal)

so two weeks ago i began the long and arduous trek into the lands of hydro. I decided early on that would try one of the more adventurous methods, (at least i think so) so i chose to construct a flood and drain hydro system from.

1. 50L res
2. 35L flood tray
3. water pump
4. air pump
5. lengths of P.V.C piping
6. i shall be using b'cuzz hydro nutes a and b
7. 600w hps sylvania dual spec light

This system went very well for the first two weeks however after my second res change for the beginning of week three it all went horribly wrong!!!!!

my res started leaking and fifty litres of water is not good for the foundations. lol so i quickly decided to change the system to D.W.C asap. i rounded up my fellow grower and we quickly set to work and when say quick i mean astronomically fast luckily i had some hose lying around from my res change and this was quickly plugged on the end of the pump and directed towards a 150L fish tank!!!! this is the best idea if you need to drain your res fast or if your drainage is a long way away. anyways after much trials and tribulations my grow room is back in working order and ready to pump some buds!!!!

The one on the right is a dark devil auto f 3rd week veg and on the left is a sweet seeds blue cheese auto f 2nd week veg

hey everyone

so.... haven't updated for a while however i have done some updating of my system

i got fed up of a closet grow so i told the missus to shut up! and put up a tent in the spare room in which now houses 7 b-e-a-utiful girls (i'm now calling it my Harem) two still reman in a dwc perlite combo and have washed roots and transplanted the soil plants into clay pebbles and installed an 8 pot wilma system.

i have also purchased two 90w led grow lights so i can gve my energy burning 600w hps an early retirement.

they are all nuted with a ph of 5.8 and various e.c depending on age.
except for the flowering plants that are obviously at about 6.0 ph to promote bud enlargement

dark devil auto is now entering second week of flowering

blue cheese auto (Big Buddha) is now entering its first week of flowering



so i need a blue spectrum led light to compliment these two flowering ones....

can anyone recommend the best solution???
