Quick ! A FOF Cousin is in Amsterdam - Seed/Strain Advice !

Cousin in Amsterdam/Europe for a couple weeks. Have the opportunity to possibly acquire beans not readily available online. Any must visit banks ? Any hard to find strains I might want him to check into ?

As many of you know, my son is very, very sick. I've been searching for a primarily Indica, high CBD, low TCH strain in the neighbourhood of a 3:1 with THC being no higher than 3-5 %. Anything in Europe/Amsterdam that we might not be able to get our hands on elsewhere ?

Seed only, no dried bud. Thanks !
 
You might wanna find a place where people talk about the different seed shops in the dam. I know people who have been there recently and not a word of these so called hidden gems you speak of. So you might have better luck finding one of the Amsterdam run websites and asking some of those folks. I do hope you find what you are looking for though.

Anyway, there's so much available that it's really hard to suggest just a couple of them. High CBD is not much to go on for me. Not sure if there's much you can buy that you can't order online as easily. So many seed shops you can walk into for advice, which your cousin should probably do (not having done the research up front). I'd avoid shops like those new tacky tourists shops on the Niewendijk street (and RQS and GHS, tourist seeds from coffeeshops like Bulldog etc). I don't know the name but if you walk from nieuwendijk (CS end) to Haarlemmer street (where Barney's is) there will be a Rokerij coffeeshop on the left, next to that one is a small seedshop open during the day only that sells seeds from many breeders. There are a few more like that (alley one or after dna genetics... dunno, cause I got high...) the ones usually not in the most expensive/tourists spots but in alleys.

I'd probably pick up some Amnesia Haze seeds in any case, from hy-pro for example (now Super Strains :rolleyes:). Nr 1 in many coffeeshops (especially when including shops in other cities than amsterdam) and for many small yet commercial growers too, yet I rarely... never... see it here. It's what I buy and smoke if I don't smoke my own. If your cousin wants to try it, tell him to go to the Jolly Joker (sort of behind the RLD if you come from CS) and buy the bio amnesia there. That's high thc not cbd though.

Let me take a quick look at the local forums...

Oh... RQS does have Royal Medic, which supposedly is 10% THC and 12% CBD. I'd never buy it because they call it a combination of two Spanish strains, one being critical, which is a chuck-off from mr nice's critical, which is big bud from sensi. But it may be interesting for your cousin.

And CBD crew of course, a joint venture between Mr Nice (good) and some Spanish breeder(s) and Jorge Cervantes (?). Sure some seed shop sells those too.

Actually, I hate to say this, but if high CBD is what your cousin wants... Sp-sp-sp-spanish-ish brrrrrreeeeeeee....... Ders.

It wasn't meant to be offensive. someone had a question and I thought that you could legitimately provide an answer. You have been ranting and carrying on about Dutch strains (which I already stated have made me laugh), so I thought it was a natural connection.

Sorry you took offence to my suggestion, I don't know what you look for in strains, I don't know you at all and maybe CBD is your thing. you seem like a decent dude but I will not refer you for Dutch related inquiries... seems a bit strange tho since you have gone all nationalistic on us..

As I said in one of those 'rant' threads, the lengths you go at projecting and remaining delusional is downright hilarious.

It's not I who brought up nationality in futile attempts to insult or discredit valid arguments. It's not I who started bitching about breeders from a certain nationality while praising pollen chuckers from another nationality (using real strains from real breeders from that first certain nationality).

I have warned multiple times in this forum to not buy seeds from sites with domain names that include "Dutch". Opposed to the "Buy American [pollen chucks of bag seed]" nationalistic dumb shit people post here. If the better strains would be in Spain, I'd say they are in Spain, and most of you will still be pretending bagseed x bagseed x bagseed beats proper bred strains from a superior genepool.

The pot calling the cattle black doesn't even suffice...

It's funny you can rhyme that with the rest, like how christians rhyme science with the bible. Whether you're right or wrong, I don't mind giving people a cookie of their own dough for the sake of pointing out hypocrisy even if that means lowering myself to their level. I'd feel like a hypocrite not doing so... it would mean acting decent means being decent and acting 'not' decent means not being decent. (<-total mind fuck for Americans who do a lot of 'acting', the intellectual dishonest :-P).

I was joking about the offensive part by the way. The only thing I find offending is lack of logic, but then I still don't take it personally.
