When purchasing clones from my dispensaries am I correct in "ass"uming that unless I keep them under the 24/7 lights like the dispensaries do they will flower or start to flower then re-veg when put outside with only nature's light, the sun?
Also, what does re-vegging look like and is it good or bad?
TIA .. :-)

24/7 or 18/6 will not induce a clone into flower.(clones will root better under 18/6)

When you re-veg stems and leafs will eventually shoot out from the bud sites
and the bud will slowly dry out and turn into stem leaving you will little calyxes
stuck to the stem which then will fall off after a while(i just pull it off).

I have revegged before and IMO the resulting product isn't any better or worse
then the mother.

I think I inadvertently put some of my clones into early flowering by having them go from 24/7 to nature's light which put them into thinking fall was coming. 4 or 5 have buds and 5 made the adjustment and continued growing. I thought Purple Urkel was revegging but from your description, maybe not.
Thanks much. :-D

In the early stages of reveg you will see some deformed growth coming from the
bud sites.

It may take awhile depending on how far along the plant was into flower.

Hard to get a pic but....I'm back to a ..maybe, about revegging. I'm a real newb at this but will I ever be able to discern if it revegged or not?

From what I see there are no real buds in those pictures so you should be clear.

(It probably hasn't even built up enough hormones to be considered in flowering IMO)

Yes, if you were to reveg you would notice right away.

Like I said in the description above you will first see
deformed growth coming from the buds which would
then turn to stem.

In your case (minor reveg) it shouldn't be long until you see new growth.

hope this helps.

It is immensely helpful. These past few months have taught me a lot.
Thank you, again. :-)
