questions on my pc case grow

so iv got a pc case going.heres what iv got.

3 26 WATT CFLS
FFOF SOIL
FF GROW BIG NUTES
12/12 LIGHT CYCLE
SQUARE 6IN POTS
2 BAG SEEDS SPROUTED

JUST A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS IM SURE WILL BE EASY FOR YOU GUYS TOO ANSWER.WHEN SHOULD I START ADDING MY NUTES? AND THE SOIL SEEMS TO DRY OUT FAST.WOULD ADDING SOME PERLITE TO MY POTS HELP THEM RETAINE WATER BETTER? SENSE THE SEEDS ARE ALREADY PLANTED CAN I JUST PUT THE PERLITE ON TOP OF THE DIRT?THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP GUYS.ITS MY FIRST GROW SO WISH ME LUCK.HAPPY GROWING TO YOU ALL.

I would add your nutes between the second and fourth week of life some where. I would not mess around with the soil after the seed is planted. Perlite would have definitely helped you. You can try putting some in later but wait until the plant has grown some.

make sure your temps arent above 85 and water till you have a bit of runoff so you know the soil is good and moist. then dont water again till its dry 3 inches or so deep. The soil you have is good for at least 3 weeks probably 4 like Blazed said. May your grow be sweet

add nutes when the third or fourth node comes in, water only when the dirt is dry (this promotes seedings to stretch their roots), seltzer thats sodium free (only carbonated h20) is good too use once ina while bc the co2 is good for the roots also. happy growing
