questions about water and plants

so ive grown from seed before and had clones from close people
but most of the time when i get clones i seem to ruin them and i think i just figured out why

i ph'd my water straight out the sink*cause thats what i usually use* and it was pretty high atleast 7.5 8.0( i used ph drops)

is it possible for plants to become use to the higher ph water and the clones i get
just are not used to it and it kills em?

like lets say i start from seed with that water it gets used to it but, get a clone from some one and the water just shocks the shit out of the plants?

and another quick question would be
lets say if i bought a 20 gallon tub, filled it with water, put a little air pump at bottom, and just wait 24s hours and just use that water over time? would this bring my water to a normal level?, that wouldn't ruin these beautiful gifts i ruin~

im tired of loosing clones to my hot ass water

get some ph down and adjust a 50 gallon drum of water and you wont have to worry about it till next grow.

how old and developed are the clones? do you put them in the same soil as you do the seedlings right away? you definetley want to get your ph down to like the 6.8 area. I'm surprised you havent been having problems with your from seed plants.

one g13 was like 2 feet tall and beautiful, i misted it with some neem oil and water from tap and it started to die and get crunchy
then i hade 5 venus clones ended up with 2 stragglers
but then again ive budded and actually took clones with that high water so it seems that other plants are more resistant to the shit water
right? when i seen that my water was that high i was blown away

sucks ive been using shity water whole time
